Important Notice - The Habitat Penang Hill | Temporary Change in Operating Hours – 17 Oct 2025:Kindly be informed that The Habitat Penang Hill will have a temporary change in operating hours on Friday, 17 October 2025, due to a private evening event. - Last entry: 4:00 PM- Visitors to Exit by: 6:00 PM- No Evening Walk session on this dateThe park will be open for day session only from 9:00 AM onwards. Important information: The Habitat Penang Hill will now be open from 9am to 9pm (Last Entry 5.30PM) Visitors entering after 5.30pm will be required to purchase an Evening Walk add-on ticket at RM18 per pax. Non-Evening Walk (Standard Entrance Ticket) visitors must exit the park by 7.00pm. Evening Walk visitors may exit at any time via the main entrance (front gate). The park officially closes at 9.00pm Visitors can immerse themselves in the enchanting atmosphere of our 130-million-year-old rainforest after sunset. They will witness stunning light installations along the Langur Way Canopy Walk and Curtis Crest Tree Top Walk. In addition, visitors can now embark along our trail after dark and spot nocturnal animals that call this rainforest home. Our new night-time experiences promise to offer a magical, memorable adventure. Highlights: Light installations, nocturnal wildlife and educational night walks led by our Guest Experience Rangers. Train's operating hours can range from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the crowd (peak or non-peak hour). It is a self-guided walk (Free Easy). Applicable every day (1-day cutoff). Penang Hill Funicular tram ticket is excluded. Tram tickets can be purchased Penang Hill Funicular Train Ticketing counter located at Lower Station.

All prices quoted are in Ringgit Malaysia. Ticket valid for 6 months Senior Citizens are individuals aged 60 and above at time of entry. Child age to 4-12 yrs old. 3yrs below complimentary. All visitors to the park are subject to our covid prevention policies. Last entry for Standard Entrance Ticket holders will be at 5.30pm. The park officially closes at 9.00pm Please note: Sunset views and night walk experiences are weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed. When the weather is favourable, Evening Walk visitors will have the chance to enjoy the sunset and join a complimentary Night Walk. The Night Walk begins at Curtis Crest around 7.45pm (once it is sufficiently dark), lasts approximately one hour, and ends at the main entrance by 8.45pm.
